You know how it works. If you use a bigger camera or an SLR, that means you’re a “professional” and you shouldn’t be taking pictures there. If you use a point-and-shoot, you’re sneaking around and you shouldn’t be taking pictures there. Either way, the cops can spin it so that they’re in the right and you’re in the wrong.

(for the record, I’ve sold pictures I’ve taken with point-and-shoots, and I’ve certainly taken thousands of crummy pictures with my SLR.)

Shucks, this elevator afficionado seems like a really nice guy. Hearing him talk keenly about something as mundane as an elevator is quaint. Kills me when a nice guy like this gets stepped on.
