I think the guy was making fun of the cop that’s the target of his blog, IE now that he’s in auto theft, he’s too stupid to realize that it’s not a hyundai in the photos but a Bentley instead.

Tug, right, because all cops are a paragon of virtue who have never broken any laws or abused their power or authority.

Not all cops are bad, and few are trying to say they are, but not all cops are good either and it is in everybody’s interest to spotlight those and bring attention to their misdeeds.

So it looks like your crack about crackpots is an example of the pot calling the kettle black.
