More details on the Miami Beach police shooting incident

A few days ago, I posted a story that I had written on NBC Miami about a Miami Beach police officer being involved in two unrelated shooting deaths in a span of four days.

Today, I published a piece on Miami Beach 411 that sheds more details on the first incident, in which the suspect was unarmed.

And there will be more to come in the near futre.

Just heard the union rep say that he was “sorry that the officer involved has to go through this and the union stands behind him 100%”.

Mmfffglp… that was the sound of me throwing up in my mouth a little bit. How nauseating.

The only problem I have with the second shooting (carjacking) is that there was no real administrative review of the officer from the first shooting. A shooting that looks clearly like the unjustified homicide of an unarmed man. I believe that is the judgment that anyone who reviewed the video would make as well.
