But he is a public figure, so why all the hush-hush?

I really don’t consider myself a confrontational photographer but I don’t back down from confrontational subjects, so maybe that makes me confrontational.

And I do agree with you that the future of journalism is being paved by the independent journalists on the Internet.

The journalists are there, if you know where to look.

And the readers are starting to take notice.

The only challenge now is to figure a way for these journalists to make a living doing this.

Once that question is answered, the rest will be history.

What an article! When the bloated major media eventually tackle this will they credit you? They should.

I am confident in saying you represent the very best of 21st century journalism. You are an inspiration and make me want to start a page as well.

Even though we are at the end of the infancy for this new age of journalism we can see where it is headed. It will be the age of the freelancer, the stringer, the guy who works the beat and owns his own content. Screw political correctness, screw censorship, and screw advertisers controlling content with their $$$. The new age is about truth. If the Miami Herald or WTVJ won’t give me that truth I’ll get it from Carlos and others.

We, the consumers of information, will decide who survives and who goes belly up in this new age. I voted with my pocketbook and encourage you to do the same.

Bill, you apparently either believe that photography isn’t protected by the first amendment or you don’t care enough about it to be “confrontational” when someone tries to take that right away from you. It is people like Carlos who have the cajones to defend your rights on the street that help keep us free.

If these rights are not exercised they will vanish over time. Use them or lose them.

Apparently Bill, you are one of those meek, timid souls who prefer a quiet uneventful life of going along just to get along over principle. That would make you a coward.

I think that only applies in the Florida Statute. The Miami-Dade statute doesn’t indicate any specific date like that.

I used to have access to Lexis Nexis because I was using a password from the newspaper I used to work at but then I got shut out.

And I really hate pulling out my credit card to read an article that may not even be what I’m looking for.
