well, Carlos, don’t you know that EVERYTHING changed after 9/11? how do we know the 12-year-old girl wasn’t actually marking the officer with a laser tag that is guiding Scud missiles from al-Qaida?

Ofcourse there has to be some sort of benefit for the US to help these countries out you stupid idiot. What are we to gain from helping Africa? Placing compassion aside, there is nothing we can do. We can’t save the world papa. But I encourage everyone who feels that this is a shithole, to move to whatever paradise you feel comfortable with. Maybe one day you will see the shithole’s F-16 fighter jets flying over you!

William, you’re apparently in need of some education about America and its role in international “help”.

England: You were two and a half years late to the party there, and you wouldn’t have come at all if the Japanese hadn’t bombed Pearl Harbour.

France: The USA wouldn’t even exist if France hadn’t helped you out against the redcoats in the 1770s. Guess you were evening the debt.

Kuwait: A week before the invasion, Saddam and crew asked the US ambassador if it was a problem for them to invade, and he indicated that the US had no concerns. It was only after the international outcry that the US went “Oh, that was very naughty of you, Iraq”.

So yeah, your international record isn’t really all that sterling.

The onus lies upon the Sheriff [in ancient law terms—the keeper of the community] of that community to discipline this deputy. It is my opinion, a deputy being a sworn “representative of the court” who acts outside the law (a.k.a. an outlaw) should be removed from duty. Furthermore, if the Sheriff doesn’t act in the interests of the law and protecting his community and its citizen’s constitutional rights; then the public officials overseeing the sheriff need to act, swiftly, rigorously, and justly.

Sounds like they need to educate there public officials on the first amendment of the united states.

If the cop had ever fought for his country he’s know what the first amendment was all about and the constitution. I say FIRE HIM!

How did this become a debate about American global policy?

As an liberal American, I can acknowledge our country has been far from perfect under the Bush administration.

But it is far from a shithole.

There are too many of us who will keep it from becoming that.
