It’s no surprise that my favorite act at the King Mango Strut Parade was the “Don’t tase me, bro” skit.
It consisted of several men dressed like cops with plastic tasers, chasing around this guy, who kept telling them, “don’t tase me, bro”, which, of course, they would and he would fall to the ground in electrical spasms, sending currents of laughter and cheers through the crowd. (Those photos are further below).

I was also glad to see my friends from Critical Mass marching in the parade. I remember when they first hatched the concept of Critical Mass at the Wallflower not too long ago. They have biked a long way, baby. Congratulations to them
And the Evil Knievel guy was kind of cool too because he would jump his bike over a couple of his friends, who were lying on the ground.
And the Progressive Brass Band from Miami made me put my two Canon 5Ds down and pull out my Canon TX1 to film them playing “When the Saint’s Come Marching in”.
I’m a sucker for New Orleans style music. That song is followed by a couple of other musical acts, including the dancing Hare Krishnas.
Now let’s check out the Don’t Tase Me, Bro skit.
Check out the rest of the photos.

This guy really got into his act. It was hilarious.

This is the world famous Mr. Clucky

Note the Miami Herald photographer snapping one of me as I snap one of these people.

He started out campaigning as a “uniter, not a divider” and he ultimately will go down as the “decider”.

I liked this one as well, but it is still infuriating to know they are going to tear down the Orange Bowl.

This is Jonathan Rose. I’ve never seen him without a tie.

The funny thing is, I don’t think this guy had anything to do with the people behind him holding up the sign, “caught with their pants down”. That was a satire on our local police chiefs and sheriffs, who don’t understand the meaning of ethics.
This guy was running for “freedom”, whatever that means.

I believe the guy running for freedom was featured in the SunPost a few months back. Something about ending the war..?

Yes, I think he was also featured on Category305 a few months ago.
He should probably run laps around the White House.
